Southern Imaging has been affiliated with CPR+ Software for about 6 years but we have been in business for over 20 years.  It was our idea to utilize thermal printers with CPR+ Software shortly after the product was transitioned to a Windows platform.  Today, we have sold over 1,000 printers and the related media to many satisfied CPR+ customers.

The Printers:

Before shipping the printers, Southern Imaging:

• makes CPR+ appropriate changes to the printers
• places “How to Load the Media” stickers in the printers
• confirms the latest firmware is installed and prints correctly out of CPR+

Installing the printers - Southern Imaging has a technical support representative who assists you with installation over the phone.  Our technical support folks have CPR+ on their PCs.

Installation includes:

• downloading the optimal Window’s Driver
• configuring the Windows driver for CPR+
• making changes in CPR+ software to reflect the new printer

After the sale, Southern Imaging:

• provides technical support to your clinical folks for CPR+ printing related issues – at no charge
• provides loaner printers anytime your office needs a backup unit - it's unlikely anyone else in the country will do this
• processes returns to the manufacturer for warranty work – RMA – shipping details, etc.
• provides loaners and service even after your warranty has expired

The Media:

Southern Imaging helped design and now produces and warehouses the labels needed for CPR+ software.  Because we have the custom labels in stock, in most cases orders are shipped on the day they are received.  We understand “label quality” says something about your organization as well as ours.  Our manufacturing process and raw materials reflect our focus on quality. 

Our ribbons are manufactured by a pioneer in thermal ribbon technology and after 100+ years they are also world's largest thermal transfer ribbon manufacturer.  Southern Imaging does not sell cheap ribbons but we do sell great ribbons – tested in pharmacy applications – for a good price.

Without question one of the strongest reasons to select Southern Imaging as your printer and media supplier is our close working relationship with your software provider, Definitive Homecare Solutions.  There is no “finger pointing” between Southern Imaging and DHS.  If a problem should arise, our first reaction is to solve the problem not hand it off to another company.
